Today is August 10th, which means one thing: the Warlord Marathon Contest is officially over. We're excited to say that it got quite a bit more participation than we'd initially expected, and over-all it's been a great experience for us. The chance to show the best of Warlord to everyone was a thrilling one, and we hope that everyone who participated had a great time!
We're currently going through to find out who completed the requirements, and the winners will be announced and receive their prizes in about a week or so, give or take. If you liked this contest, why not hop by the forums and let us know? We'd love your feedback!

Busy week for Warlord, isn't it? Yes, folks, that's right: the Warlord "Marathon Contest" we mentioned before has begun today. Your 72 hours have begun. Play for 12 hours over all our maps, and you'll win. You also might want to keep an eye out: Some of us from Isotx will be lurking around various maps and you just might run into us while playing, as an added bonus. We're looking forward to seeing you in game, and hope you have a lot of fun. Make sure to keep an eye on the forums for the winner announcement and the rules if you're unfamiliar!

Last week we let everyone know about an interview being held by GameVisions with Warlord Developer Vincent Van Geel. We promised a second half would be coming soon - and indeed, GameVisions has delivered, with yet another portion of an exceedingly interesting interview that's sure to be interesting to Warlord fans. You can check it out by clicking here.
As a preview of what you'll find in this interview --
"I think a game (any game really) is never really done, as you can always go in and polish/tweak/add in little bits and pieces or advance it with another episode or do a graphics overhaul etc. I think the only thing that happens is developers abandon projects since it no longer has financial merit to advance them. We’ve had to put projects into the cupboard for the same reasons but we always come back to them..."
We've also been informed of a Part three coming out - with community questions able to be submitted by the fans. If you're interested, why not check out the community forums for how to submit your questions? This is your chance to grill a developer - take advantage while you can!
And remember, today's the last day to enter the contest so don't forget to put your name in if you want a chance at a free copy of Warlord!

Hey, Warlord fans! Are you playing on the demo, but not yet sold on the full game? Curious to see what all the maps are like? Or maybe one of your friends is still playing on the demo version and you want them to have a chance to see the full game? Well, guess what: Your chance is here. We've often been told that Warlord shines best on the maps after Spiral and for the first time since release, we're throwing the full version of the game open to the public temporarily, in the form of a little event we like to call our "Marathon Contest." The basic gist? Play it All. Win it All.
Have we got your attention yet? Good. The full contest information and how to sign up can be found on our community forums by clicking here. You never know: You could win. If nothing else, this is your chance to see Warlord at its best, and who wouldn't love the opportunity to play a full game for free, even if it is just for three days!
