It’s New Year’s Eve, which means that fragfest is tonight. The event starts at 11PM EST and will carry on until 4AM EST on New Years.

The specifics can be found in a link to the official post here. If you missed out, after the event is over, we’re going to start a discussion thread on The Hive to talk about how it went, and much more, so you check out all the carnage.

Surprise! A new, updated version of the Warlord Manual (6.8mb PDF) is available for download; you can also find it on the Encyclopedia page. Some problems were fixed, and you can find more details about it here. We're very sorry for any confusion that this causes!

2009 is rapidly coming to an end, and with the New Year, we'll all be making resolutions for what we want to accomplish. The question we're most eager to know, though, is:

What's your Iron Grip New Years Resolution?

Post about it on our forums and discuss with other Warlord fans here!

So it's been too long since we hosted a fragfest and it's time that we remedied that! What better time than the end of 2009 to do just that? It was an eventful year for Warlord - our first patch (since Winter Offensive was an expansion) launched, price drops, and numerous contests - a fragfest is just the thing to end this year appropriately. And you can bet that some people from Isotx will be there, too.

Catch us on the servers come December 31st. You're guaranteed to find people there from 11PM to 4AM EST, GMT -5, and we'll also be on the XFire community doing talking to you guys - literally. Sound fun? Excellent. We hope to see you there. And for those who missed it, you can find information about our XFire community @ xfire.com/communities/igwarlord! We'll be looking for you!

Yes, folks, you read that title correctly. Iron Grip: Warlord has received a new patch! This version, 1.12, brings with it some very cool functions that many people have been inquiring about for some time, including but not limited to:

  • A voting system; kick out problematic members or find out if everyone wants to switch difficulties/maps!
  • An option showing who has killed the officer.
  • Countless bug fixes.
  • A tie in to the upcoming browser title, Iron Grip: Lords of Atelia.
  • More functional turrets!
  • A function to pick up mines using the wrench!
  • A price drop to $9.95!

Do we have your attention yet? Well, there's a whole lot more than just those changes. This new patch is rockin' and we hope everyone finds it worth the wait. You can find out more about it by going to this link which includes a full change log and download information.

We hope to hear your feedback on the forums and to see you all on the servers soon!
