CAN YOU EXPLAIN THE GAMEPLAY FURTHER?
Iron Grip: Warlord combines real-time strategy and first-person shooter elements to add a new twist to playing war. It puts the player(s) in the heat of a battle, fighting off hordes of AI-controlled invaders. It can be a single-player skirmish or a multiplayer massacre.
Players start by with a few weapons and are instantly required to hold off waves of enemy infantry, tanks, and other powerful creations to protect their stronghold. Strongholds are the heart of the resistance and must be held at all costs, or else the player loses the round.

IS IRON GRIP: WARLORD A STAND ALONE GAME?
Iron Grip: Warlord is most certainly a stand alone game. It is built off a modified version of the Quake III engine. It
does not require any other game or program for installation, although it is recommended you consider checking out CrosuS while playing as it offers enhanced multiplayer features like a match-making system.

WAIT, ISN’T IRON GRIP A HALF-LIFE 2 MOD? I THINK I’VE PLAYED IT…
You’re probably thinking of Iron Grip: The Oppression, a popular Half-life 2 mod ISOTX released years ago. This game is the next continuation of the Iron Grip universe - instead of creating another mod, the development team decided to make a standalone game.

HOW MUCH DOES WARLORD COST? WHAT ARE THE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS?
Warlord is being sold through the ISOTX store at the price of $9.95 USD. As for the system requirements, they are low and made for a wide-range of computers:
Computer: Athlon XP 2000+, Pentium 4 2.0 GHz
Operating Systems: Windows 2000/XP/Vista
RAM: 512 MB RAM (1024 MB RAM Recommended)
Free Space: 450 MB hard disk space
Graphics: OpenGL compatible 128 MB video card (FX 5200 or Radeon 8500 or better)
Internet Connection: Internet Connection for registration and online play

ATELIANS? CONFEDERATES? EXPLAIN?
The Atelians are a culture that’s being invaded by the Confederation. Atelia is a nomadic society with a few estranged city-states that the Confederates seek to control. As an Atelian warrior, the player fights against the Confederation with every last ounce of effort in hopes to retain independence from the oppression.

WHAT IS THE IRON GRIP UNIVERSE BASED OFF OF?
There are many sources of inspiration for the Iron Grip world. At the very heart of it, Iron Grip is rich with both modern and ancient ways - complex religions, tormented leaders, and vast depth coupled with powerful machinery, airships, and large cities.
I WOULD LIKE A PRESS PACK, HOW CAN I GET ONE?
From the enthusiastic blogger to a professional magazine, any member of the press can get a free copy of Iron Grip: Warlord for review upon request with extra high-quality renders and a manual! We have three requirements for those interested in receiving our game:
1. You must be affiliated with a printed publication OR
2. A website with an Alexa ranking of 150,000 or better AND
3. Either publication or website matter must be devoted mostly to video gaming and/or technology.

WHAT IS THE WINTER OFFENSIVE?
“The Winter Offensive” is the name of the first expansion to Iron Grip: Warlord. All copies bought after the release date of December 22nd already feature the expansion content, and the game can be updated for free for those who have already purchased Warlord by clicking the “Download” button on the left. The Winter Offensive features Christmas content, as well as new maps, two new units (one with two skins!) and new musical scores.

WHAT IS "SCORCHED EARTH"?
Scorched Earth is a purchasable DLC for Warlord which adds Deathmatch mode to the game, and also two new enemies and a pair of new weapons which players can find around the map.

WHAT IS DEATHMATCH MODE?
In deathmatch mode, you fight against other players and try to earn as many points as possible in each round, and killing players with less powerful weapons will get you more points. When killed, enemies drop gold which you can collect and use to buy weapons or upgrade your character. You need to own the Scorched Earth DLC to play deathmatch mode.

WHAT IS SURVIVAL MODE?
In survival mode, you are simply trying to survive as long as possible against increasingly tough waves of Confederate attackers. The Confederates have no morale bar, and killing officers gives you additional power rather than damaging Confederate morale. You need to own the Scorched Earth DLC to play survival mode.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE VARIOUS DIFFICULTY LEVELS?
The game has five difficulty settings, which influence several aspects of the game, such as: number of enemies spawned, enemy move speed, accuracy and reaction time, how often loot and pick up-able weapons spawn, and other things.

HOW DO I GET THE GAME TO STOP CALLING ME "UNNAMED PLAYER?"
To change your name to a recognizable handle, go under “OPTIONS” then “PLAYER/GAME” and put something else in for Player Name.

I RECEIVED AN ERROR MESSAGE WHILE PLAYING WARLORD, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Please try to collect as much information as you can gather on your computer and on the problem, and report it to support@isotx.com. Capturing screenshots of the error or sending a dump file if such exists in your game's folder might also improve our ability to answer you - both of these can be found in your Warlord folder on your hard drive.

WHAT IS THE DIFFICULTY MULTIPLIER AND HOW DOES IT AFFECT GAMEPLAY?
Essentially, the difficulty multiplier increases the health of your opponents as players join a game (up to four players). This is not the same as difficulty level. The difficulty multiplier can either be on or off, as set in options.
