Atelia is a weak and weary collection of divided city-states and nomadic tribes that have roamed the mountains for thousands of years. Historically, Atelia is akin to the Wild West; a dangerous and largely lawless place where people need to look out for themselves. Recently however, things are changing as the powerful Confederation press their iron fist into the heart of Atelia, vying for total control of the region.
The Atelian Militia is an organized army of rebels led by the Nomad Warlord Sahrab and his allies. Outnumbered and unpopular, they are fighting fiercly for Atelia's freedom. In Iron Grip: Warlord, the plater takes on the role of a member of Sahrab's army, engaging in suicidal last-stand defensive missions to stop the massive armies of the Confederation from swallowing their land and culture alive. players are tasked not only with fighting off hundreds of invading infantry and armored units, but also with constructing defenses that will help them hold off the enemy for as long as it takes.

Confederate Infantry
The greatest strength the Confederation has is sheer numbers, and their infantry vastly outnumber the Atelian Militia. The primary tactic they will employ throughout Warlord is hordes of infantry: they prefer to win simply with overwhelming numbers. This is not to say, however, that the Confederation has no skilled warriors; in addition to the conscript masses, they have a variety of special forces operatives that the Atelians will come up against in their struggles to defend their lands, and the player must deal with them in order to protect their home. Know your enemy.
Confederate Vehicles
